Question of the day: wherein does the Red Brick roadway in wizard of Oz go? here is the answer indigenous Askville:In the original collection of Oz books written by L. Candid Baum the red brick roadway goes come the Quadling nation in Oz. Red is the Quadlings' state color. In his books, the soil of Oz was split into four quadrants and each was designated a specific color: Winkie nation = Yellow, Gillikin country = Purple, Munchkin nation = Blue, and Quadling country = Red. Glinda the good was the leader of the Quadlings in L. Open minded Baum's Oz series. As her balloon floats away from Munchkinland in the 1939 film, it shows up to be complying with the red brick road. Therefore, the red brick road most likely leads earlier to she homeland, Quadling Country.

5.Baum was not an especially consistent top top points like this.

They could readjust from one publication to the next. Climate again, there to be no red brick road in the books. There were, however, at the very least two yellow brick roads.

7.I grew up loving the collection of Oz publications as walk MiddleFingerMom in her childhood.

...I had the good pleasure of analysis some of lock to her in her last stages of Alzheimer's (when she had actually pretty much reverted to her childhood). Both of us with large smiles on our encounters as we dove earlier into that human being wholeheartedly....When i was cultivation up, we had hardbound copies from about 1918 and also some from about 1937. The latter books had wonderful color bowl illustrations, but the previously ones had MUCH much better pen-and-ink illustrations (I bet the Nome King native those STILL has actually the strength to give me nightmares - listed below is a book cover from 1927 -- not also CLOSE to the terrifying results of the fat li'l hairball with stubby arms and legs marching on Oz)....The Nome King, BTW, got "around the fatal and/or Impassable Deserts by tunneling UNDER them....I extremely recommend any type of of the numerous dozen publications from the collection to kids of any type of age....
